Drilling your desk: An exercise in dust.
So I had some ugliness happening on my desk – it was starting to bubble and chip where I normally keep my drinks (three years of water damage on wood laminate). So, I fixed it. This is the mess I made (and the not-so-perfect solution provided in pictures)
